  • The average length of disqualification was 22 months.
  • 8,537 (86%) cases resulted in a fine.
  • The average fine was £337.
  • 411 cases (4%) resulted in a custodial sentence.
  • 238 (2%) were admonished.
  • 31 cases (0.3% of cases) resulted in a life ban from driving.
